A conversation with Kavita
12:30 in the afternoon, January 6. Kavita's kitchen. Kavita and I have a conversation about accessing online archives. We click through the online Digitales archives while we talk. The conversation lasts 21 mins.
I recorded the conversation with a microphone plugged into Kavita’s laptop, using recording software that was bundled with the laptop’s operating system. I wanted to have a manuscript of our conversation. We tried writing the recording to a CD: it is impossible to decipher what we are saying. It is too big for Kavita to upload to the internet. I have told Kavita that she can save the recording or delete it: I abandon it.
